Become a Hero Host
Deploy Mycelium Nodes or Routers
- as host you connect the router(s) and/or node(s) to internet and get rewards for providing compute, AI and network capacity
- as host you earn rewards.
- as host you are helping your community to provide capacity
Income for the Hosts
Our aim is to have millions of routers and nodes in the field, we will have a map where cells will show the necessety to deploy more routers and/or nodes.
The collors will show urgency.
- green (enough nodes, no rewards)
- yellow (can use some extra nodes)
- red (let's do it, this region needs help)
For red cells the reward is highest.
We are also hosting on other networks like ThreeFold which is using the same underlying tech.
How to become a Host
- buy a *NODE (Compute/Storage node) or *ROUTER (Mycelium Network Node).
- connect to the internet
- become part of a Hosting Pool
Rewards for being a Host
Typically a Host can earn the investment of their node back 2 to 5 times over 5 years if succesful.
Hosting Pool
A Hosting pool takes care of
- marketing the capacity and capabilities
- giving support to the userbase (developers)
- managing the best possible pricing
- monitor all nodes, routers and optimize uptime
- monitor available bandwidth and make optimizations where possible.
If a Host uses a Hosting Pool he/she will have to give a part of their reward to the hosting pool, each hosting pool can decide how much that needs to be.
