# NEWS: ThreeFold is launching on Solana.


In April our Digital Currency called TFT did some very interesting moves, 39m USD was going around within 24h (note we don't deploy any marketmakers).

This was very interesting to see and it motivated us to go faster in our expansion. This is why we decided to launch ThreeFold on Solana with a new Token which is compatible with TFT.
