# Buy TFT With A Lobstr Wallet

## Step1 Create & Confirm Your Account
|
||||
|
||||
Download the Lobstr app from the [Appstore](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lobstr-stellar-wallet/id1404357892) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lobstr.client&hl=nl)
|
||||
|
||||
And Create your account in the app and confirm your email address.
|
||||
|
||||
## Step 2 Creating a new wallet & Funding It
|
||||
|
||||
Lobstr will provide all its users with a 30 day loan of 1.5 XLM to activate the account. When you want to start using the Lobstr wallet you will need to fund it and pay back that loan. You can fund with a credit card or send digital currencies to the addresses of your lobstr wallet.
|
||||
|

## Step 3: Activate your wallet
|
||||
|
||||
To activate your wallet & start trading you will first need to refund Lobstr the 1.5 XLM loan you received.

## Step 4: Add TFT asset(s)
|
||||
|
||||
To start trading or buying TFT assets you will have to add them to your wallet.
|
||||
|
||||
You can do this by clicking "Assets" in the left menu. From there you can search for TFT and it will show all TFT assets (TFT, FreeTFT, TFTA)
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
## Step 5: Start Trading
|
||||
|
||||
You can now start exchanging your digital currencies for TFTs through the Trade section in the menu. You can choose to fullfill sell orders, or create your own buy order. Once the buy order or trade has been fulfilled your TFT will show up in your wallet.

## Work with the Solar Wallet
|
||||

||||
### Step 1: Download Solar Wallet on your preferred device
|

||||
For this manual we are going for the desktop wallet for MacOS.
|

### Step 2: Install the application.

||||

### Step3: Create an account
|
||||
|
||||
Open your Solar wallet and click "Add account."
|
||||
|
||||
This will take you through the process of creating a new account or importing an already-existing account.

||||

You now have an empty Solar wallet.
|
||||
|
||||
## Step 4: transfer XLM to your wallet
|
||||
|
||||

1. Copy your wallet address from Solar by clicking Receive and clicking on the address or QR Code. (This will copy the address onto your clipboard.)

||||

1. Go back to Coinbase and click Stellar Lumens (XLM) in your wallet section
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
1. On the right-hand side of your screen, you can now fill in:
|
||||
|
||||
- The amount you want to send to your Solar wallet
|
||||
- Paste the address of your Solar wallet (from step 1)
|
||||
- Write a memo (can be anything, but is needed to process)
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
1. Click Send and fill in the two-factor authentication code. When all is processed, you will get a confirmation of the transaction.
|
||||
|
||||
2. Funds are now sent and showing up in your Solar wallet
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|

### Step 5: Add TFT Asset to Wallet
|
||||
|

1. Click the top-right menu icon
|
||||
2. Click "Assets & Balances"
|

3. Click "+ Add Asset To You Account"
|

4. Type "TFT" in the search box
|
||||
5. Click "Add Asset To Account" (this will cost you a small amount of XLM to set up a so-called trustline for the asset)
|
||||
|
||||
The TFT icon will now show in your Wallet overview.

# Buying and Storing TFT on Interstellar wallet
|
||||
|
||||
Interstellar.exchange is a decentralized exchange that allows you to buy TFTs.
|
||||
|
||||

The base currency of Stellar is XLM, the easiest is to start from this currency.
|
||||
|
||||

This is a straight forward process and will allow you to buy unlimited amounts of TFT.

# Step by Step Manual
|
||||
|
||||
## Part 1: Create an account on interstellar.exchange
|
||||
|
||||
- Click Login/Signup.
|
||||
- Choose Your Language
|
||||
- Choose Your Preferred View: Light/Dark
|
||||
- Click through the 6 USPs of interstellar.exchange
|
||||
- Click Enter Account.
|
||||
|
||||
For Interstellar, all you need to do is set a password, as the wallet will be linked to your device instead of an email address.
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
- Set your password, Confirm it, and accept the Terms and Conditions
|
||||
- Click Login: You now have your account
|
||||
|
||||
## Part 2: Create a wallet and adding funds to your account.
|
||||
|
||||
- Choose If you want to generate a random or custom wallet address (we are going for a random one in this case).
|
||||
> **!DANGERZONE!** You are now presented with your Secret Key. Please follow all steps and read the procedures carefully. Losing your key will most likely result in a loss of your funds. ThreeFold or Interstellar can’t help anyone restore accounts or the funds attached to them in any case!
|
||||
|
||||
- Your account is now created and you will have to send funds (digital currencies that run on the Stellar Blockchain only) to one of the wallets attached to your account.
|
||||
- We have funded our wallet with $408 or 10.000 XLMs for this manual as you can see these are now shown in the account overview.

## Part 3: Adding the TFT Asset to your account.
|
||||
|
||||
- Click Add Token in your account overview
|
||||
- Choose All (Unverified) and search for TFT
|
||||
- You can also choose "Manual" and add the following data
|
||||

The Asset is now added to your account, to trade the asset however you will have to create a trustline, you can do this by clicking on the "Trust Asset" Button.

When you have successfully created a trustline it will say success and the activity will show up in the right-hand column of the account page.

## Part 4: Trading Digital Currencies for TFT
|
||||
|
||||
Now that the account is set up and funded and you have the TFT asset listed in your account with a trustline you can now start trading TFT.
|
||||
|
||||
- Click Trading in the left sidebar
|
||||
- Then go to the most right tab to select the currency you would like to trade for TFTs (XLM in the case of the screenshot) and press go
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
- You can now choose to fulfill a sell order from the order book, do a partial buy of an order, or create you own buy order by stating the amount of TFT you would like to buy and at what price.
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
- You confirm the transaction and will get a success message when it has gone through, plus a little bell will also ring.
|

- You now have TFTs in your wallet
|

# Buy TFT through Stellar
|
||||
|
||||
Stellar has a built-in exchange = Stellar_Exchange
|
||||
|
||||
You can use this exchange to go from a Stellar token e.g. XLM to TFT or other way around.
|
||||
|
||||
## Step One: Use an Exchange to Buy XLM with Fiat
|
||||
|
||||
Fiat is the name for euros, dollars, or other government-issued currencies.
|
||||
|
||||
A fiat gateway allows you to enter the world of digital currencies through depositing fiat currency.
|
||||
|
||||
- You can choose any digital currency exchance (Kraken, Binance,...) to go from Fiat to a digital currency like XLM.
|
||||

|
||||
- [Exchanges recommended by Stellar](https://www.stellar.org/lumens/exchanges)
|
||||
|
||||
Next, you'll want to add funds to your wallet and exchange those funds for XLM. Those XLM can later be exchanged for TFT on the decentralized exchange.

## Step Two: Convert XLM to TFT
|
||||
|
||||
This part of the process involves:

||||

||||
1. Installing or use a new wallet that can be used to store XLM and buy TFT, or use a web based wallet
|
||||
2. Setting up a trustline for TFT (means teach the wallet about the existence of ThreeFold Token)
|
||||
3. Exchanging XLM for TFT

||||

## Important Instructions To Secure Your Wallet

- Always use a password to secure your account on a wallet (any wallet).

- Remember your secret key and store on secure location. Losing this secret key might result in the loss of your account and the funds in it.

- No party in the world can reset or retrieve the secret key and neither can be held responsible for losing funds at any time.
