Last Saturday I spent a few hours over at the ZICTIA data center with the remote assistance of Weynand. We ran into some issues. Need to come up with a recap of the issues and pick this back up so we can get these nodes live. Right now waiting on recommended steps from Weynand before creating action plan.

I spent another hour this morning with Weynand, here is the situation:

  • Seven (7) total devices
  • Three (3) Beelink Mini S and one (1) Beelink T4, none of which can find a disk
  • Two (2) bigger Beelink GTR models which are getting stuck somewhere in the boot process
  • One (1 Beelink Mini S which seems fine

Next steps are to open up the six nodes which are not functioning for whatever reason and see what is going on inside. But I need to find a screwdriver.

I was able to open one of the Mini S devices and the disk was indeed inside and there are no obvious signs why it should not be working. The two GTRs I have not been able to open up yet. I need to find some WD40.

We need to troubleshoot the devices IMO. E.g. replace some parts with others that we know work e.g. storage disk, then we can pinpoint the issue.

I wouls suggest to contact support on Crisp and we can track and solve the issues.
