Situation

Our docs/specs have always said that capacity on certified nodes costs 25% more, but apparently it was never actually that way in practice. Since they are fixing that, everyone renting certified is going to start paying more when those changes go live (currently planned with 3.15)

Highlight this well before it happens so there are no surprises for users with certified nodes.

OK what do we suggest in terms of communicating this? We already have an issue to announce 3.15 so would it be part of that? Or does it need separate communication? Probably it needs both.

I would write a stand-alone forum post with the content from the Situation section above.

We say what happened, that changes will affect billing and that we will let the users know when it's implemented.
