flist builder & tutorial, in V #69

  • example script where we use nerctl from .vsh script to build an image
  • we export the image to flist (export to filesystem, use the rfs to make flist)
  • set login/passwd so we can remotely login
  • host the flist & blobs on S3 server (garage)
  • expose S3 server over mycelium
  • make script in .vsh which launches VM on TFGrid which uses this flist

requirements

  • all is hosted on mycelium, no public ip addr needed, zos knows how to boot from it
  • good docu
  • example scripts (.vsh or if no willingness to use .vsh then bash)

questions

  • where do we host tutorials like this?

is podman a hard requirement? because we already have docker2fl tool https://github.com/rawdaGastan/docker2fl that can do that
