Situation

  • We want to implement ThreeFold V4 Grid

TODO

  • ZOS V4 Boot Image
    • Deploy ZOS V4 boot generator
    • Create and deploy signed boot image service
    • Set up telegram bot for boot generator
  • Farming pool
    • Define Farming pool specs, Develop Farming pool procedures and documentation (procs and docs!)
  • Products
    • Set up node+phone manufacturing partnership (being done in this repo)

Notes

  • When the zos v4 boot image 3 steps are done, we can give telegram bot key to certified node V4 manufacturers

we need to review above, not sure this is the easiest and best way

questions/remarks

  • what do we want to achieve with telegram bot
  • we don't want to allow everyone to deliver signed boot images, we need to have better process, for now manual ok
  • we should not talk about deployment of v4 boot generator before we have defined how its going to work

We discussed online, but as stated the Telegram bot is working well for V3. We can monitor the access there, as @scott is doing with Robert already.

@scott can you expand on how it works with Telegram bot for v4 so it's clear that is is a proper method? Thanks.

Update

  • Discussing with @thabeta how to make the most out of it. He can own the overall v4 project and we align the resources to deliver early Q1 in line with node selling partners.
